hmm , its already the second day of skool and honestly , im still kind of not very attached to my current class and everytime i see a group of you gurls hanging out together during breaks , or even when some of us actually hangs out in one of the classrooms , i really starts to get all emotional and feelings that start welling up .

but like vernice mentioned , sometimes we just haf to move on and its like the transition is gonna be hard , or real hard for some but afterall know that one day we'll still step out of this and begin to accept the new everything , so lets be positive and at the same time also help one another out during this time ya(:

Ok!!! people, here's a VERY IMPORTANT reminder for ALL BSP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS:

Pls report to the Ministry of Education in (best) Nanyang Hongzi.
Pls bring along the letter, Birth Cert + identity card (do we have it in the first place??) , PSLE results slip, school report books and CCA records/testimonials.
Here are some tips I read from somewhere: (just for sharing purposes)

Do:

Be punctual! Get directions to the interview location before leaving your home. Check in when you arrive.
Dress appropriately as if applying for a job, which means neither too casual nor too dressy.
When you meet the interviewer(s), introduce yourself, make eye contact and use a firm handshake, but not too hard.

2o3, please remember to bring pe attire tomorrow cos we have amazing race.

when we go to school, we will check our sa marks. then from 1000-1115 we are having post exam activities, where we will learn first aid from stjohn ppl. 1115-1200 is the sandwich making competition in the canteen. i need 7 ppl to make the sandwich. 1/2 hour will be given. the rest of us will have to be present too.

this sandwich making competition is about making an anti-cancer sandwich with ingredients that can help fight cancer. you have to convince the judges to eat your sandwich, so have to advertise with the help of poster. but yall also need to know why ur sandwich is healthy. we need to draw the poster in the morning.

it all seems very last minute doesnt it? we will hun guo qu again.

However, love had already unknowingly bloomed between the jealous pair through the process. Today, I would like to express my utmost grievance in only being able to post an entry in the 2o3 class blog in October. However, elaborating on what caused the series of unfortunate events such as forgotten password and down servers will only waste our precious time. Dear all, time and tide waits for no man, thus, allow me to begin.

Now, if my inferences were correct, I do believe that all you young ladies of 2o3 are devoting your time to your studies, even if it's at 2107, such an unearthly hour of the day when we should be giving ourselves entertainment. However, I sincerely believe that all your efforts will not be gone to waste, for you will emerge from your adolescences as strong, young women of the society, free-willed and respected. You shall all spread your graceful wings and soar to be the elites of this society, to be the women of the new generation!

Dear all, the future of Singapore is in your hands. Ever since dunnowhen, we have come a long way. Our forefathers worked hard, and now it's our turn. then i started to move away from him. then suddenly, he talked to me!!
at first i dont know what on earth was he talking about, some indian language, i thought.
but halfway, i heard woodlands. then heard zen3 me4 qu4(how to go). haha. HE IS SPEAKING CHINESE.
blah. he asked how long it takes to go to woodlands(in chinese) and i told him about 20 to 30 mins(in chinese).
-silence- then he started talking to me again! mummy! he said he was from a hua2 xiao4(chinese school) and asked if i am too.

the battle was not very fierce but every player tried their best to prove their stands . both teams fought hard with their eloquence and when the results were about to be announced , the entire lt2 was so intensed , so quiet ! the only voice tat everyone could hear clearly was the one reporting the results and finally she proclaimed and the entire lt shook(exaggerate) with screams and applause . tats the debate just now !:D

and of cors , the many many avid supporters who witnessed the entire debate this afternoon[: tralala , ii think we all had a great time watching them . and on the other hand , the cheers and applauses were great encouragement:D so kudos fer supporters !

yo 2o3! evelyn here:) its been a long time i blogged man:D havent been switching on the com for like a few weeks? eh really lor. cant believe right. funfair was so busy! its kinda cool..gwen and me got home at ten for many nights. imagine it..though those few days were really busy and tiring, but i think they were meaningful(:

i lost track of time. my sense of time. weekends and weekdays felt the same, and everyday like got no time to waste. rush here rush there, do this do that. i was practically skating across jurong point in my sandals(the slippery kind) cos gwen slipper broken so kope mine:\ haha! cos that night after piano i went to jurong point to buy the prizes. then very late le alot of shops close le. ask a few places that never close, then they tell me out of stock that kinda crap..finally went to ntuc and it was like in semidarkness. cool right!:D k im siao:l

then everyday go home, put down stuff, rush homework, pack everything, sleep. like that! my life was so action packed can! never slack at all:D normally you know go home will like sit around, walk around talk to parents, crap abit with bro or sth huh(:

then go sch, everyday discuss funfair stuff with gwen. plan, organise, get very agitated/worried cos some coms never update us or sth. attend meetings, ask this teacher sth, ask gary tang questions, get some crap answers from him. you know he can never answer sth straight. he seems to find a NEED to give us some longwinded crap. every time after talking to him i feel like saying 'im not impressed'..but of cos i never la. i just raise my eyebrows at gwen or sth=p

and you know the funny thing? after the funfair, i still could not get used to normal life la. cos that week my time really luan diao. i forgot what was early, what was late. that night after funfair i reached home at seven. then i suddenly felt that the sky was very bright. haha! xD on sunday even weirder. woke up at eleven, ate, went back to sleep, then woke up at three. i was like, huh? today is sunday ar? now is afternoon meh? lol. blur diao=x

that day co concert we even more siao. it was like 1030pm le, but vernice, gwen and i still went to lao ba sha for supper! omg. now i think of it i cant believe. like as if we are COLLEAGUES!((x eat satay some more xD

wow i think i wrote quite alot!:D hopefully you were not sian diao heh. its just that i realised that its been a long time i posted! then dunno why just type one big chunk on funfair..hehe(x

hello everyone its me again! ^^

haha i realised that i can tell you all class stuff thru this blog. eh i very slow i know. haha sorry la..last time very busy then no time to type long long posts. so now holidays le i'll post more. hmm. our posts are slowly dying..hehe xD

anyway, a few more updates. yesterday i asked the sweet talk person at jurong point and she said they have no main branch. and the address i found in the yellow pages is a factory. gwen sent the sponsor letter to the factory le. hope they'll reply..or maybe i'll need you all to go around to the diff sweet talk shops to give them copies of our letter. see how first. update you all again(:

Food

- One bubble tea mascot (cardboard +paint)
- Also suggesting using stickers to advertise (paste stickers on them). But might scare the people. Blehx.
- Give flyers with e.g. beehoon jokes on it.
- Tokens (Size of McDonald coupon)
* If you bring the coupon to out stall (beehoon), buy one set, get a "free chance" coupon at any of our game stall.

Stuff

- Cardboard (mascot)
- Paint (mascot)
- Coupons (not decided- use hard paper or normal paper)
* Deciding on price (because not all people will make use of them) and can like reuse them when people give them to you for a free chance (thus need it to be lasting).

Advantages

- Make people want to buy a set so that we can earn faster! Woohoo.
- Make ppl use the free chance and get 'addicted' to the game and want to continue playing (hence earn more $$)
- Coupons also serve as a kind of advertisement for our game stalls.
- Stickers also serve as an advertisement for our stalls.

Disadvantages

- Cost $$
- Wasteful (cause some ppl may just throw the tokens away)
- Scary (sticker- people may mistake you for a molester)

for the beehoon its confirmed. yinhwee's aunt said that 300 servings of beehoon and 3 trays of vegetables cost $140. so we'll sell 300 packets of beehoon. the egg we provide at our own cost, so the cost price of every packet de beehoon and cabbage will be $0.50. our selling price is $3, so our profit is $2.50. we selling 300 packets, so $2.50x300=$750. this is our total profit.

wow it sounds quite complicated right? actually im typing all this from a table me and gwen have worked out. very impressive one you know! too bad you all cant see xD really really impressive! lalala((x k la i very ego. but i feel so pleased with myself! ^^ ok anyway, its important that you understand this part hor. so try to read it again if its quite confusing. jiayou! (: must understand.

We are pupils of Nanyang Girls' High School from Class 203. We are writing in to seek support of your company in sponsoring our Food and Funfair 2006. Our school is organizing a Food and Funfair in aid of the school’s upgrading, as well as the President's Challenge. Through the food and funfair, we hope to raise at least $200 000 to fund upgrading works to be carried out in Nanyang Girls' High (NYGH), and contribute to the President's Challenge. Our class would be selling bubble tea at the Food and Funfair and we are appealing for a sponsor to sponsor us 400 cups of bubble tea in all for our food stall.

The Food and Funfair will be held in our school on 1 July 2006, Saturday, 9 am–3pm. It is open to public and there will be food and games stalls. In view of our small capital, we sincerely hope you would kindly agree to sponsor us 150 cups of red milk tea, 150 cups of chocolate milk tea and 100 cups of strawberry milk tea. In anticipation of the large turnout expected on 1 July 2006, the funfair provides a golden opportunity for NYGH to help you publicize your products.

Sweet Talk's bubble tea has always been very delicious. Our classmates really enjoy the bubble tea from Sweet Talk and often patronize the many outlets. anyway the problem is that we cant find the address. no website or sth. but just now i went yellow pages and found an address which sounds like a factory area. mm nevermind. later i go jurong point sweettalk and ask(:

ok this is the best case. if we sweettalk is really willing to sponsor us 400 cups, then our cost for each cup is $0. total cost also $0. selling price is $2, so our profit for each cup is $2. $2x400=$800. our total profit is $800! $800+$750(beehoon profit) = $1550! though never hit the $2000 sales target, but we really cant cos our cost price will be very high:(

but if sweettalk dont sponsor us, we'll try to get them to sell at a cheaper price. lets say they're willing to sell us $0.50 per cup, then we need to sell 500 cups to hit a total profit of $750. so our total cost price will be $0.50x500=$250. selling price is $2. so our profit for each cup is $1.50. $1.50x500=$750(total profit)

so we must really hope that sweettalk will sponsor us. cos if not we'll have to spend $250 and we dont have enough funds..sigh.

deco com, during the holidays try to think of how to deco our stall k? cos if not it might be quite chaotic when sch starts. plan the layout and everything, then you can assign us to get materials, or decorate the stalls. jiayou! planning is the key(:

and i checkedhe food and funfair notice board the other day. our food and games stall are both at the quadrangle, under a tentage. both are at opposite ends. ok facing the flag pole, one is at the top right hand corner and the other is at the bottom left. cant remember which..lol. deco com you all might need logistics com to help you. cos they know which how many tables we have and stuff like that.

First time here (dun ask me why) I suspect it's cos i need a break from doing the mega sia's magazine layout. I'm pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

No lah. I'm here cos i was going to my squad blog to tell me squadmates to check their beret for mould (dun ask me why either) so I figured it would be good to blog here too.

About the mega SIA..... Oh well. I was never gd at microsoft word. Took me 3 hours to do 4 pages. Imagine how many % i could have gained in Maple in these 3 hours!!!! ~~HAIYAH~~ HIAH.

Ok lah. Short entry to assure my existence in this class blog xD Joking. Kidding. Alright the question now is : Should I do more layouts for the mega SIA or should I stuff myself with as many left socks as I can find? D: I'm so confused.
